When it comes to makeup I am a minimalist. Today I am sharing with you what is inside of my makeup bag, in fact, it is all the makeup that I own.  These are all wonderful beauty products that I swear by.

Let’s start with my all time favorite beauty product. Dior Show mascara is probably the one item besides moisturizer that I could not live without. I have naturally long eyelashes, but I struggle in the volume department. Dior Show is a life saver and makes my eyelashes beautifully full. I often get asked if I am wearing false lashes. No, it is just Dior Show.

I am a bit of an obsessive freak when it comes to moisturizer. Taking care of your skin early is very important, especially when trying to stay youthful. I do not use foundation, but instead of use Nar’s Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer. The buildable coverage is sheer to light. It gives me just the right amount of color to even out my skin tone and covers any imperfections.

I own a total of five eyeshadows.  I wear them no matter if it is a day look or I am going out at night. The eyeshadows that I use are all from MAC Cosmetics. The colors are Brule, Bronze, Espresso, Kid, &  Carbon. I use Painterly Paint Pot from MAC Cosmetics, as my eyeshadow base. This helps my eyeshadows stay all day long and keep the shadows from creasing.

The way that I take my look from daytime to nighttime is with eyeliner. During the day I wear brown eyeliner. At night time I change it up and use black eyeliner. Super simple change, but a completely different look. I use fluid liner from MAC Cosmetics in Dip Down and Black Track. The fluid liners are great because they are long wearing, and smudge resistant once dry.

I’m not big on lip color. However, I am a huge fan of the Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Lipsticks. The YSL lipsticks are sheer, almost like a lip gloss, but give me just the right amount of color. They are also creamy, moisturizing, and go on smooth. Plus they’re beautiful to look at!

Margin blush from MAC Cosmetics is my favorite. It is has a light shimmer that adds highlight and a natural pink to my cheeks.

When I have completed my makeup, I like to put a light dusting of Laura Mercier’s translucent loose setting powder across my face. This helps set my makeup and reduce any shininess that I may have.

What is your go-to beauty product? I’d love to hear in the comments down below.

Happy Sunday!

  1. Great products! I’m all about mascara too. I’ll have to check this one out. I’ve been using a drugstore brand for the last few weeks until I can get to a Sephora.
