Over the last few years, my husband and I have pretty much replaced all of our furniture in our house with brand new. The only thing that we had not replaced was our mattress. Our mattress was in such horrible shape. Let’s just say I slept in a permanent sinkhole on my side and my husband was suffering from back issues. Needless to say it was time for a new mattress…

Tuft & Needle

My husband and I decided to go with a King sized  Tuft & Needle mattress. The reasons why we choose the Tuft & Needle mattress over other mattresses is that Tuft & Needle uses a special T&N Adaptive Foam®. The foams special
technology helps keep you cool all night long by drawing the warmth out of the mattress and away from your body. Also, the T&N  Adaptive Foam® contours to your body to help give you support in all the right places.

I am a fan of great customer service. Customer service can sell me on almost any product. Tuft & Needle offers a 100-night sleep trial. If you aren’t happy with your mattress within 100 days they will return your mattress. Tuft & Needle donates all returned mattresses to local charities and non-profits. Which I think is pretty awesome. Tuft & Needle also has free shipping and they offer the same mattress price all year long.  You don’t have to ever worry about your mattress suddenly going on sale for less than you paid, right after you have purchased it.

Unboxing the Tuft & Needle Mattress

How crazy is this? A king sized mattress fit into this box.  Tuft & Needle mattresses are delivered to your door in a big white box.  You simply remove the packaged mattress, unroll the mattress onto your box spring, remove the plastic and it puffs up on its own!

My husband and I are learning how to use my fancy camera, so I apologize…  the pictures of me unrolling the mattress ended up being unusable. However, you can watch a video demonstration here.

Our Experience With Our Tuft & Needle Mattress

My husband and I are on our first full week with our Tuft & Needle mattress. Our first night wasn’t the most comfortable, maybe because the foam had not had a chance to fully expand yet? However, after a couple of days, this bed has fully adjusted. You can really tell how supportive the foam on the Tuft & Needle mattress is. My back is definitely feeling more aligned.  Tuft & Needle has a localized bounce in the mattress. The localized bounce keeps you from feeling each other’s movements during the night. This really is a great supportive, quality mattress that is helping me get a better nights sleep.

Added Bonus Feature…

Olivia and James love the Tuft & Needle shipping box.  Olivia begged me to bring it into her room. This box has created hours of play time for my two children. Do not throw your boxes away!
